Education

Since 2013, the Play Fair Code has been visiting its target groups and holding direct talks, seminars, and workshops to educate them about the threats and risks of match-fixing and betting fraud and how to handle these correctly.

A DECADE OF SERVICE TO INTEGRITY IN SPORT

In sport-specific and target group-specific training modules with illustrative case studies and interactive elements, we give participants the knowledge and tools they need to identify dangerous situations, make informed decisions and act in conformity with the rules.

While the portfolio of educational formats has grown over the years and expanded into the virtual space (online courses, social media training elements, etc.), personal contact and direct dialogue with athletes remains the most effective and successful and therefore the preferred approach.

Play Fair Code training sessions take place directly at the associations, leagues, clubs, athletes, coaches and referees, last about 45 to 60 minutes, are free of charge and are usually conducted in German or English.
