#NOMANIPULATION MESSAGES AND VOICES > FOREWORD THANK YOU FOR 10 YEARS OF PLAY FAIR CODE A decade ago I had the privilege of launching the Play Fair Code. Now, the time has come to trustfully place the future of the association in new hands. Together, we have pushed and achieved a lot. In today`s sport world, the awareness of match fixing and betting fraud is much deeper and firmer rooted than it was when we first started. For that, I would like to thank everyone who has supported us and the association in the past. Let‘s keep watching and listening, let‘s uphold the values of sport together so that we can preserve what means so much to us! I wish my successor Friedrich Stickler all the best and every success! MESSAGES AND VOICES > FOREWORD WELCOME TO FRIEDRICH STICKLER …and thank you and all the best to Günter Kaltenbrunner. Ten exciting years with Günter Kaltenbrunner are coming to an end. The common path, with its countless challenges and efforts, has put Play Fair Code in a very successful position in both Austria and beyond. And to be honest, we’re really happy about that! However, working on integrity is an endurance sport and we will continue to train diligently in our disciplines. Perseverance, expertise, innovation, and a touch of humor have become part of our DNA, which we now want to develop further with Friedrich Stickler. As ordinary members, and as the ninth and tenth sports associations, we’re happy to welcome the Austrian Table Tennis Association (ÖTTV) and the Austrian Ice Hockey Association (ÖEHV) on board. #NOMANIPULATION ASSOCIATION AND NEWS > 10 YEARS OF PLAY FAIR CODE BECOMING AN INSTITUTION A decade of serving integrity in sport. As red hot as on day one, but with a multiple leverage of expertise, a widespread awareness and well-trained athle- tes, clubs and associations, this is how the topic of match fixing and betting fraud in Austria is handled after ten years of Play Fair Code`s integrity work. What was an initiative at that time has become an institution for integrity that has found a place for itself on both the domestic and international sporting land- scape. With around 1,000 prevention training courses completed and approx. 22,500 direct contacts made, the institution has achieved a great deal of attention. It is working with all stakeholders, what has evolved Play Fair Code into a best practice case. On the occasion of the anniversary, this was reflected in the first edition of the Play Fair Code Talks. One of the findings clearly was and is that our work will never end! 6

The panel discussion with a national and international panel, gathering numerous prominent experts – including representatives of the sport ministriy, from the IOC, UEFA, Interpol, the Council of Europe, and the Austrian Football Association – was broadcast live on .
