As part of this year's summer team clothing for the World Cup athletes of the Austrian Skiing Federation, the Play Fair Code held training and awareness sessions about integrity in sport, match-fixing and betting fraud.

The top-elite of the alpine and nordic stars participated in the training sessions including Olympic champion Matthias Mayer, snowboard icon Benjamin Karl, nordic combiner Bernhard Gruber, Nicole Schmidhofer, Mario Stecher, Petra Kronberger and many more.

Due to the high number of participants, the athletes and coaches were sensitized in three single training modules by Play Fair Code CEO Severin Moritzer on the topics of integrity, match-fixing and betting fraud.

In terms of content, concrete cases from various sports, typical patterns of behavior, the consequences of match-fixing as well as protection mechanisms from an athlete's perspective were presented and discussed.

Play Fair Code CEO Severin Moritzer: "A huge thank you goes to the Austrian Skiing Federation, our loyal and trusted partner for years. In addition to the annual training session for the youth athletes, for the first time we were able to sensitize and inform the top stars of the alpine and nordic teams on the subject of integrity in sport."
